Bergamot HOUSE — Hotel in Valencia

Staff: Check-in: Reception staff was unfriendly. He noded to keep main door open as it slums, but because I did not understand in time, he was dissapointed. On day of check-out, there was no one in reception, after asking if anyone was there a voice shouted to leave the keys and leave. |Very narrow staircase. Starts with steps of various height and depth and ends up in a wooden staircase with narrow and high angle steps. Problematic with luggage and if you like me are unable to climb easily steps. |Room: TV was not working. Bathroom pressure and water temperature was good. Cleanliness: Towels and linen had spots/marks. Floor table was clean. I liked our room. It was clean, neatly decorated and had an AC. The bathroom was great, too. We had access to a shared balcony. That was a good opportunity to have a diner outside. Each level of the house has its own kitchen, so you can cook smaller things. There is no Dishwasher.

The place is situated in the innercity of Valencia. The first 3 days we just spend by walking. Everything is in walking distance. After it we used public transport. Busses are close by.

We had a small issue while checking in, cause we first got lead to a wrong room. After we unpacked everything the guy came and first asked us to change the room again. After a short talk together we found out that there is also different solutions so we don’t have to pack up again.

All in all we have been very happy...

We stayed 3 nights in BuhoHouse and we enjoyed it a lot! The location is perfect, just minutes away from the cathedral. We loved the style of our room and the bed was very comfortable. And maybe most important: the room and bathroom were very clean. Since the hotel is in a quiet street, you almost have no outside-noise coming in. The house itself has quite some noise though.. You will hear everybody coming in, walking to their room and talking quietly in their room. During the night it was quiet, so we still had a good sleep.
