Very disappointed!! ANGELA, the heart and soul of the restaurant, is no longer there. The quality of service and food has dropped greatly, as explained below. We've been regular customers (2-3 times/month, usually Fridays) for over 2 years, because of the formerly-excellent combination of Angela's super-efficient, attentive, upbeat service, and the quality of the well-priced menu of the day. This past Friday lunchtime was the first time we were very disappointed with everything. We were initially surprised that it was almost empty, both inside and patio. Normally, it's always full. The new waitresses tried to provide good service, but they are not at Angela's level (see several other comments here on Angela's value). The food arrived in total disorder, and was colder than normal. They forgot my main dish (Sunshine Sushi) until we had eaten all other dishes and I had to remind them I was still waiting. Read moreOkay, so we came here because searched “ramen” in google, and it was their 1st pic When we sat at table and get menu there wasn’t ramen in it, but manager said they could make it(coz it exist in lunch menu), so we ordered, but when we got our ramen we been shocked, noodles was from cheapest fast food package, meat (beef) r cheap slices from package also + cold. We called manager and explained that couldn’t eat this food, she “transferred” us to another guy who “explain”: “it is not a ramen restaurant, so quality of it like this” and after we said “but it not a noodles, it package food from shop for 0.5$” he answered “yes, you can find it cheaper in shop but we r restaurant”…. Whatever, we asked how we can resolve our problem, coz we can’t eat it, guy went back to girl manager and she said we can order something else, but we should pay for ramen also, so we just paid for it and leave their restaurant. We arrived, placed our order, and over the next 30 minutes, four different waiters came to our table to ask if we’d ordered, to which we replied each time that we had. Additionally, we called a waiter over twice to confirm the order.
After 45 minutes of waiting, a waitress came by and said, “Oh, sorry, I forgot to take your order.” The café didn’t offer any form of compensation or even a proper apology.
I recommend dismissing the waitress for such poor customer service. I wouldn’t advise anyone to visit this place: the staff treat customers disrespectfully, offer no solutions to issues like these, and after an hour of waiting, they simply apologize and walk away as if nothing happened.
