In summary…

5/5 for the show 3/5 for the service 4/5 for food and drink

Total = 4/5

A gorgeous and intimate flamenco restaurant hidden in an unassuming part of town. We bought the VIP experience tickets with the more extensive menus and drinks included.

It was fabulous. The mood as soon as you enter is brooding and dramatic, and we seated around the centre stage. The food was good, but not phenomenal- and followed a set tasting menu. We didn’t have any allergies or preferences so we’re happy to gobble it up with gusto - but we weren’t asked either. The staff are very friendly and give the impression of attentiveness at first, but we noticed when it came to getting more free drinks as part of our “VIP experience” there was a lot of forgetting. We had to ask for water three times and a glass of wine three times before it arrived - they didn’t forget to try and upswell us some cocktails instead off course, which conveniently weren’t part of the package. For context we had a jug of sangria between us by this point - so it wasn’t a valid effort to stop any over drinking.

Despite this, the evening was far from ruined - in fact, it may be one of my favourite meals in Valencia, almost entirely because of the show. The energy, vibrancy and emotion of the performance was through the roof - each having a commanding presence on the stage. The music was live thanks to two young men, one with an incredible talent for guitar and another with a soaring almost Arabic sounding singing voice, who set the tone of the performances beautifully.

I fully recommend going - a must do in fact. I’d give five stars if I wasn’t made to feel like the venue wanted me not to take advantage of the free drinks on offer - despite paying extra for...

La Buleria is one of those experiences that stays with you long after you go. The dining room/stage is beautiful, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the performances are astounding.

I had always wanted to see a Flamenco show and, traveling to Valencia for a weekend, I decided it was a perfect finale date with my girlfriend. We went with the VIP package which allowed us to sit right beside the stage and take the show in as close as possible.

Both of us say that this was THE highlight of our trip. The performers--dancers, singer, guitarist--are all superb and will keep you captivated for the entire performance. They are all first-rate artists and really deserved the thunderous applause they received at the end.

I have very few criticisms of the night. The main one for me is that while the appetizers were very good, the main courses (while fresh and very well presented) tasted a bit bland for my preferences. Additionally, while we were seated right beside the stage, the stage has pillars on each corner and our table was situated such that my girlfriend had a full view of the stage while my view was partially obstructed.

That said, these are extremely minor criticisms in consideration of the package as a whole. The entire experience is well worth the price and something you'll look back fondly for...

I had the chance to experience the dinner and flamenco show at La Bulería in Valencia, and it was a memorable evening with a few ups and downs. The venue, tucked away in the heart of Valencia, has a cozy, intimate vibe that sets the stage for an authentic flamenco experience. The show itself was a highlight—about an hour long, featuring passionate dancers, a skilled guitarist, and soulful singers. The bulerías and soleá performances were full of energy, with the dancers’ intricate footwork and expressive movements stealing the show. Even as someone new to flamenco, I could feel the emotion and artistry, and it was clear the performers were top-notch. Sitting close to the stage (thanks to booking the VIP package) made it even more immersive. The food was decent, with a Mediterranean menu that included a variety of dishes like cheese , a fresh salad with Valencian orange, and a cod fillet with roasted vegetables. The portions were generous, and the flavors were solid, especially the cheese selection. However, the meal didn’t quite live up to the “exceptional” hype I’d read about—Service was friendly but stretched thin during peak times, which made the dining experience feel...

This was a great experience! We did the VIP level dining experience which let us taste the majority of the menu. The show was very entertaining and the perfect length (about one hour). The dessert was assigned based on the menu you chose and this one came with an apple tartlet that was freezing (colder than the ice cream) we were jealous of what looked like a brownie or chocolate cake that others had- offering an option on the dessert would have made the VIP menu a little better. The menu we chose also came with unlimited drinks during the show however we never figured out how to get those drinks because you can’t talk during the show and no one came to see if we wanted other drinks. Lastly- it is impossible to get a taxi or ride share in that area when the show ends unless you speak Spanish and have a Spanish phone number to call one. So plan ahead! It would be great if the restaurant offered help with this that you can select in advance especially if you have unlimited drinks. All in all a great experience, just a couple things that could make it outstanding if adjusted.
