Very disappointed with the experience overall and see a lot of reviews stating the same! The service was insanely slow, even for Valencia. It took us hours to get our food and everyone’s meals came out 20-30 minutes apart. It seemed like they had 1 guy in the kitchen and 1 serving tables. Some of us got the lunch deal that came with a starter and the paella of the day. This day’s paella happened to be the squid ink seafood paella. I can’t stress enough how salty it was, we could barely finish it. It took so long to come out that we were really excited when it came, but then each bite got saltier and saltier. Paired with the clumps of garlic aioli, I don’t think I’ve ever had a saltier meal. My friend got the lamb that took another 30 minutes to come and was way overpriced and my other friend had the escalope which was alright but quite simple, a lot like a schnitzel. The only thing we enjoyed were the croquet as but those are hard to mess up. I don’t really recommend coming here for a paella.

Overall, it was okay, but I found it overpriced. The portions were small and not very thoughtfully presented. While the meat was well arranged, it was a small serving, and instead of the promised salad, we just got a few bell pepper pieces. The meat was very fatty and tough. The staff seemed rushed and overwhelmed, so we barely got any attention. The Patatas Bravas were served carelessly with ketchup and mayo without asking if we even wanted it. The portion, meant for six people, was more suitable for two or three. I wouldn’t return

I recently visited, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. First, the service was absolutely horrible. From the moment we sat down, it was clear the staff was either completely uninterested or just plain unprofessional. The waiter brought us a bottle of wine but didn’t bother to fill up our glasses—we had to pour it ourselves. Isn’t that a basic part of the service?

The worst part was that we had pre-ordered our paella online three days in advance, expecting it to be ready when we arrived. Instead, we had to remind the waiter about it, and even then, we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes with no explanation or updates.

The staff seemed completely disoriented and unengaged, almost like they were on another planet. It was shocking how absent they were, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Their inattentiveness and lack of professionalism were appalling.

Overall, this was a disastrous experience from start to finish. I would never visit this place again, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of it. Paella may be their specialty, but when you can’t even get basic service right, it...

Disappointing Experience at La Valencia

Unfortunately, our experience at La Valencia was terrible. From the start, the service was extremely slow, and it took several reminders for our wine to finally arrive. When it did, the staff didn’t even bother to pour the wine into our glasses, leaving us to do it ourselves.

What was even more frustrating was that we had pre-ordered a paella when we made our reservation, yet after waiting nearly two hours without any food, a staff member came over and asked us what we were still doing there. It turns out they had completely forgotten about our order. Only after we complained did they start preparing the paella, making the entire dinner experience much longer than it should have been.

To make matters worse, the servers were extremely unfriendly and seemed utterly confused throughout the evening. The lack of professionalism was astonishing. When we finally left, we weren’t even given a proper farewell, which felt like a final blow to an already disappointing experience.

I will never visit again or recommend...
