If you are visiting Valencia, you must visit Tomad Y Comed. We just happened to walk in without any preparation and they flexibly offered us a table for three. The staff was immediatelly really kind with us, and even without knowing Spanish, we could communicate properly. We were offered the daily menu with a very reasonable price. We payed 17 eur per person for 1 gratis tapas, 3 entry foods (per person!), a main course and a dessert. Even though all the main courses had meat in them, my girlfriend who is vegeterian was offered a plate that was not listed as one of the options and had no meat in it. Every meal was really delicious and the waiter was very kind to us all throughout. I would really recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat very high quality meals on a...
Read moreWe had lunch here on a mid week lunchtime. We were walk-ins but they found us a table in what would become a very busy restaurant. We had the set lunchtime menu with three appetiser then a Valencian rice dish and a dessert. We also had a great wine recommendation from the owner of a local Valentian wine which complemented the food perfectly. The service was also excellent; friendly and efficient. Don’t be fooled by the plain building exterior, this is a restaurant worth a special trip wherever you’re staying...

We enjoyed chef’s compliments before three course meal was served. The taste of all dishes was absolutely balanced. The size of the servings was also well-suited for our expectations. Also, reasonable-priced house wines - 2.5 for the glass the cheapest (but still good). Absolutely not a tourist-trap. I would summarize this place as one of the best in Valencia to...
