Saint Anthony’s Irish Pub — Restaurant in Valencia

I went to the pub last Sunday to see the second part of the England vs Georgia football match, and then watch Spain playing. I sat with my boyfriend to a no reserved table and we ordered drinks and food. We were about to order another drink when the waiter came with the bill, saying that we needed to leave cause they accepted another reservation for the table and we had to tell them earlier that we wanted to stay to watch the match.

I said that it was not a good service, as we walked in and nobody told us that, but there was no discussion, we had to leave. The pub was almost empty, but he did not offer us the option to change table.

The place is nice, but if the service is always the one we experienced, would not...

Myself and my partner recently moved from Ireland to valencia and we came to saint Anthony's today to kindly ask if they had any job vacancies. We arrived and the place was empty so we asked the two staff members and all we were met with was laughs. Honestly, I would never come here again after that. Its hard enough to put yourself out there but to then be laughed at is just bad behaviour and a horrible way to treat people. We have asked around in other Irish bars and we had lovely experiences with the staff in every other bar. I cant comment on the bar itself, but the staff need to do better, no wonder the place was so empty at 7:30pm...

After my last awful experience I thought. Heck let me give this place another go. I've waited 7 years to see Arsenal at this stage of the champions league surely they'll show it... I travelled all the way there to be told EVERY single TV was showing the Barca game 🤣 people DO NOT be fooled. This is NOT an Irish pub (in any sense) its simply takes the name and look so they can rope locals in to laying top wahck for food and drinks 😅 absolute fraud of a place!
