We went to ask a while ago for a wine tasting with friends and family before our wedding. When we asked if the food paired with the wines could be vegetarian there was a lot of judgement from one of the owners and comments that, to start with, were outdated and ignorant about vegetarian food and what makes Valladolid great (after I said we wanted vegetarian food, what was his point anyway??). I grew up in Valladolid and after learning about the impact of our eating habits in the planet and animal welfare, I don't think that eating animals is what makes the city great. It was very old school and I am very glad I found another place to do it because they were definitely A LOT more respectful and supportive with our food choices. Unfortunately there are still many people like the owner of this place, but luckily there are others coming to...
Read moreWe visited to do the wine and cheese tasting and I seriously can't say enough good things about this place!! The atmosphere is sooooo cute and the service is beyond amazing! Our tasting consisted of 4 wines, a vermouth, and something like 14 different cheeses. We loved EVERY SINGLE THING! Additionally, we were provided so much information and details about the wines and the history of the area and the culture. The wine pours were basically full pours, not little tastings as I was expecting. Everything about this experience was...
