Pizzeria Vesubi — Restaurant in Valldemossa

It was the most awful experience I’ve ever had. The personnel’s attitude was very disrespectful against the tourists. They only take care of the locals and don’t even look at the tourists. Me and my man waited 40 minutes for our pizza which was too salty. We kept the taste of the salt from the end of the meal to the brushing of our teeth some hours later even if we drank as much as possible to make it disappear ! Two women which was next to us waited so long that they left the restaurant, same for an other family of four. After that I had to ask 3 times for the addition because the personal prefer to drink beers and not to do their job. We visited the lovely town Valdemossa and went hiking in the mountains. After a few hours we got down to the town and decided to have lunch in Pizzeria Vesubi. Unforunetly the food was tasteless and no love from the kitchen. We ordered two different pizzas and a grilled chicken. The pizzas tasted like they came from the factory and the chicken breast was very dry and tasteless. The service was uninspired and they served us wine in filthy glasses and we had to ask for clean glasses. We do understand that this is a famous town and they have to serve a lot of tourists every day that might never return for a sexond meal again but nevertheless it's sad to have to pay for poor food and sercice, even if we"re only tourists...

Absolutely terrible. Don’t even think about going here. This place is an absolute disaster. Unless you speak Spanish fluently, just forget it — you might as well be invisible. We waited for over an hour, and not a single person brought us a menu or even asked if we wanted water. Meanwhile, people who arrived after us — who happened to speak Spanish — were seated, served, and treated like actual customers.

It honestly felt like we were being ignored on purpose.

I’m not exaggerating when I say: This is the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.

Maybe they’ll start caring once flies start swarming the tables — because clearly, basic hospitality isn’t enough of a reason.
