Chiringuito Antonio — Restaurant in Vera

Very disappointing Eating in a Chiringuito should be a relaxing experience but here everything is a rush We were asked 4 times within 10 minutes of sitting down if we were ready to order.

We couldn't order off the tapas menu because they were too busy. The prices are far too high for the quality of the food. The calamari was nice but the boquerones were awful.

The staff are nice but they're being rushed and around by an awful man out the back who speaks badly...

Servicio super atento, incluso el dueño nos preguntó al final de la cena, nos recibió y nos despidió. Sitio tranquilo para ir por la noche, al que accedes por una vereda de farolillos muy agradable.

En la terraza corre el aire, y no hay jaleo.

Tienen idea sobre las trazas y alérgenos en la comida, aunque no lo especificaran en la carta. Y eso se agradece. Por lo menos tienes la seguridad de que no te van a colar algo en plan 'solo hemos frito unos calamares, seguro que no tiene gluten', como si que nos ha pasado en otro sitio.

La relación calidad-precio-entorno es excelente. Ayer estuvimos en otro chiringuito a pie de playa y el precio era similar, con peor calidad y ambiente (la atención fue buena, eso sí).

Tienen pescado del día, muy recomendable.

Al que se queja por ahí del tomate aliñado, se ve que no ha comido mucho por ahí. El precio por una ensalada en cualquier sitio es ese. Y el tomate, por cierto, estaba delicioso.

La carne la saben hacer al punto de verdad, y es de muy buena calidad, se agradece. El pan de Calatrava casero...

Went for pizza, but not on the menu, ordered calamares a la planche and entrecôte instead, well surprisingly delicious!!! Very well spiced squids, very good and grilled like I wanted meat!
