Stumbled into Crudeza because it was closer to our Hotel than any other restaurant. Stroke of luck, really. A small, very well-designed restaurant in a medieval building. Turns out it’s a family affair — the nephew’s your waiter, the uncle’s the cook. The wine selection is awesome. We went for the NENO white, a light, fruity, dry. Service is lovely, we were informed about the size of the dishes, their relative hotness, their ingredients, and got great info on the wines. We had the Anchovies — simply perfect, just the right balance between fish taste and salt — then the Ensalada Neptuno, thinly sliced zucchini, carrots, surimi, avocado, trout caviar and raw tuna inna lime vinaigrette — then the Ceviche Clasico, a divine cod ceviche with just the right amount of cilantro, topped with red onion, white corn and salted corn — had a great entrecôte w/truffled fries, then a hierbas liquor to top things off. All of this for under 100 euro. I‘d visit again any...

Can’t think of a reason why not to give this place 5 stars. My family are on holiday from England and we walked past this restaurant and booked it thinking it looked nice. All 7 of us had 3 courses with drinks and it was cheaper than our other meals on previous evenings, but was by far the best food. We’ve often used trip advisor to find where we should eat so this was a spontaneous meal and it was amazing !! Definitely try the spicy panko prawns and the Neptune salad starters ! The truffle potatoes and the beef cheek were also stunning. We can’t wait to come back already. It’s a small menu but we all tried different things and agreed there was not a single dish that wasn’t lovely. The wine’s good too and the waiters are helpful and friendly. You’re missing out if you don’t get the cheesecake for dessert too! My little sister is a fussy eater but even...

Last October, my daughter and me walked part of the Camino de Santiago, and one evening, by pure chance, we ended up having dinner at Crudeza. The food was absolutely delicious - so much so on our way back home to Porto, we returned to the restaurant just to try the fried artichokes again.

This year, we decided to do the Camino as a whole family and, following our little tradition, we went back to Crudeza for lunch. Right at that moment a blackout occurred, and no one really knew what was going on or what would happen next. But the team was incredibly kind - they gave us water, said kind words to kids, and made us feel truly cared for. The people at Crudeza are not only real professionals who create exceptional food, but also good-hearted and generous ones.

Highly recommended - for the food and for the...
