Casa de las Artes — Attraction in Vigo

My wife and I saw an exhibit of works by the great Galician painter Lexeiro here. The gentleman who worked there (whose name tag said Jorge if I remember correctly) greeted us very warmly, and (in Spanish, which we speak) gave us a very detailed and well informed tour of some of the artist’s works, along with very interesting cultural and historical commentary. It was like a 30-45 minute great lecture by a passionate art/culture professor—really enlivened the work. Felt very lucky to have walked in there! Free...

No conocía este museo. Fui con motivo de la noche blanca en la cual la entrada es gratuita y había horario extendido y conciertos en todos los museos. En este momento tienen 4 exposiciones. Una pequeña de escultura con pocas piezas. Dos retrospectivas de pintura de autores gallegos. Y una de ilustración en la planta baja que se inauguró el día de hoy con obras de 15 ilustradores.
