What an amazing experience to have lunch here. We stopped in Vigo on our way to the north of Spain and I’m glad that we did! Lovely city and lunch at this restaurant made it perfect! We chose the 35 euro menu, thinking it might be a few small bites but we were glad we didn’t take the 50 euro version with meat as the portions were very generous. Started with lovely bread with smoked butter, then we had a smoked starter of a deconstructed ham sandwich. An amazing squid ink empanada in a modern way followed and then a small sandwich with beef shank and brisket, heavenly! Then a rice dish with parsley oil and squid and then a piece of fish with cabbage. And dessert was a piece of cheesecake. For 35 euro! I was blown away, also the quality of the cooking and the presentation. Service was fantastic also, lovely people all around. Hope to come back...

We ate in this restaurant this evening. In the reservation we explicitly stated my daughter has an allergy to nuts. At each point in ordering we restated the allergy and this was acknowledged by the waiter, who assured us that there were no nuts in the dishes we were served. However after the desert my daughter started to have symptoms of a reaction to nuts, at which point we were told the desert contained hazelnuts. We were astounded this could happen and more astounded by a senior member of staff who’s demeanour did not reflect in any way that she understood the severity of what had happened or what potentially could have happened. We didn’t feel the significance of what happened was understood and that is why it’s important for us to leave...

If you want to have an 11 Madison Avenue experience at the fraction of the price, come to this place. Owners Marcos and Patri are incredible humble, down to earth, yet inventive and audacious chefs, who create dishes based on great produce. Come sit at the chef’s bar/table, get the fixed menu and be surprised with fish, meat, sauce and vegetable combinations that will take your taste buds to a different orbit. Get a local Galician wine. Take advantage of your front row seat and chat with chefs and other kitchen staff, while enjoying watching dish preparation and learning from these food artists. Amazing restaurant. We went at lunch and for the 7 course tasting menu - the usual is 6 courses we added a meat dish which wasn't needed but still ate of course - really delicious food. You've all seen the pictures of their bao buns, for good reason, utterly delightful. No misses at all. A great venue and friendly lovely staff. If you like your food, then it's a must visit in my opinion. We spent €108.00 between 2, excluding service, including 1 coke and 3 bottles of mineral water. MAKE SURE you book. Go. Enjoy.

Veníamos con la idea de coger el menú degustación pero una vez sentados al ver la carta cambiamos de opinión y tras dejarnos asesorar hemos pedido unos platos para compartir. La experiencia ha sido buena, pero no lo suficiente como para poder recomendar este sitio. Estos son los motivos: Me ha gustado mucho la decoración del local, la limpieza y la falta de olores de cocina a pesar de ser un espacio abierto. De los platos que he probado, mi favorito fue la panna cotta ahumada. La presentación y la combinación de sabores me han sorprendido. Estas son las cosas que no me han gustado: Para acompañar la comida algunos hemos pedido una copa de vino, concretamente un godello. No me he fijado si acababan de abrir la botella o no, pero nos lo han servido a temperatura ambiente. Esto fue lo primero que tomé en el restaurante y marcó un poco el resto de mis sensaciones en el sitio. Con respecto a la comida, el resto de los platos fueron normales. Las croquetas tal vez podrían haber llegado más calientes, y los chilaquiles me hubiese gustado que viniesen con más condimentos y una salsa menos líquida. Por último aunque todos hemos dicho que hemos comido bien, el hecho de que no haya sobrado ni un trozo de pan me hace sospechar que podríamos haber pedido algo más. Esto es difícil de saber en el momento de pedir porque no hay una separación clara de lo que podría ser un aperitivo, un primero o un plato principal. Añado una foto de la carta en el momento de este comentario para referencia de variedad y precios.
