The hardest thing for me when traveling is finding the kind of “savory breakfast” we, people of the Eastern Mediterranean, love. I just can’t go on with only a coffee and a croissant for breakfast; one day, maybe two days, but then I need to see an egg, some cheese, tomatoes, and olives on the table… In Vigo, I discovered this breakfast spot on Google Maps at midnight, just a stone’s throw from my hotel, and when I saw “shakshoukas” on the menu, I could hardly wait for the morning – in Turkey, we call this “menemen.” My spouse chose the plate named “Yana’s Brunch.” Out of pure appetite, excitement, and joy, We forgot to take any photos. El local tiene un ambiente bohemio con toques desérticos que te hacen sentir de vacaciones, incluso en un día gris. El detalle del techo lumínico que simula un cielo soleado es simplemente genial.

La propuesta gastronómica es lo que más sorprende: cocina fusión internacional con raíces gallegas. Probamos la shakshuka (plato estrella, deliciosa y muy auténtica), el pulpo con hummus y varias tapas, todo con una presentación cuidada y sabores que invitan a salir de lo típico. Además, cuentan con opciones vegetarianas, veganas y sin gluten, algo que se agradece muchísimo.

El ambiente cambia a lo largo del día: brunch por la mañana, tapas al mediodía y cócteles por la noche, lo que lo convierte en un sitio versátil al que apetece volver en diferentes momentos.
