Restaurante "Aldama" 1885 — Restaurant in Vitoria-Gasteiz

We took 3 pintxos, 1 vermut (not homemade) and a bottle of sidra and they wanted to charge almost 30€. The pintxos are awful, not recommended, any of them. The worst is when we realised the bottle of sidra was 16€ (wtf) they tried to charge a the sidra for the price of a tinto crianza, sorry but not normal. This is a great centrally located place for tapas and wine. As long as you don’t mind sitting on a stool next to a barrel table, you can look through the archway into the Plaza España and watch the world pass by. No puedo decir mucho de este bar , solo hemos estado una vez pero no volveremos a repetir .

Pedí una tortilla rellena que estaba bien , pero además de eso pedimos un caldo que era PENOSO . Nada más cogerlo para llevarlo a la mesa , me sorprendió el olor tan fuerte que tenía a Avecrem, las típicas pastillas de glutamato para dar sabor a los guisos . Es que olía como si habrían echado 50 pastillas de esas en 1 litro de agua , lo dejamos entero , no era ni medio normal , solo el olor lo decía todo . Mi pareja le dio un sorbo pero menos mal que no le dio ninguno más por que le habría sentado hasta mal . Sé que un simple caldo, es algo un poco insignificante pero es que nos sorprendió por que con 4 hortalizas , unos huesos y un poco de pollo o ternera , tienes un caldo bueno , no hace falta añadirle un cesto de pastillas de avecrem .
