Sagartoki — Restaurant in Vitoria-Gasteiz

Normally I never write a review when I have a bad experience with a restaurant but this time was beyond a horrible experience. We decided to go here to have something to drink and eat, inside of the restaurant was no table available so we decided to eat at the terrace. We choose the only table free with still some dishes from the guest before. We didn’t see any staff so we sat and even put the dishes on the corner to help the waiter clean the table for us. After a few minutes the waiter came to us and just said in a really disrespectful attitude that as we were already sitting he couldn’t clean the table for us and he left. We wait a couple of minutes but he would just ignore us and he came again to say the exact same thing till he made it very clear that we will not get any service. His argument was that because it was very small place he couldn’t clean the table even we put already all the stuff on the corner. So any way before we left we try to talk to the waiter and he said to us “I didn’t ask for your opinion, I don’t care”. I worked a couple of years on a restaurant and got deeply disappointed from this staff service, to be honest the worst experience I ever had. So if you are in the neighborhood look for a better...

The customer service is really poor from the door to the dinning room.. The waitress at the restaurant is really poorly trained and educated impolite and really RD…. REVIEWS speaks by the self.. Maybe because it was just me and my daughter… by other reviews that I red she is something.. if she is a Partner must go.. and if she is just waitress must go as well.. bat acquisition for any business.. she was fun with couples and big parties… maybe because is M E… At the video… just looking at my daughter as “who are you”?! Horribleness First timer in this restaurant… and it is not just inexpensive.. I was trying to understand about the cuts and way that they prepared the meat but she was just repeating that the “The weight of the cut was 2 kilos with 6 something including bone and fat” So RD such an indescribable person.. The other helpers so stressed attending and I just can imagen that that behavior is coming from above to down… So sad.. Location is good The venue is interesting

But such a R Waitress… Maybe she is the owner.. and “good luck” I red other reviewers and they are not too happy as well with that...

I was advised to have dinner at Sagartoki in Vitoria because it seems to be a good restaurant. I came from Bilbao tonight with an Italian friend, with high expectations and the intention of making a good impression of Vitoria to my colleague. We had just a decent dinner, nothing more. I would even say that the price was excessive for what we had, but despite everything, I might have considered coming back if it hadn't taken 1 hour and 10 minutes to serve us a plate of sliced ham to share, and then 20 more minutes to serve us two tuna tatakis. But what truly bothered me deeply was that when I expressed my dissatisfaction to the person responsible for serving our table, she replied that the delay was normal and it was our fault as customers for deciding to come at the same time.
