Popeyes Sports Bar — Restaurant in Yaiza

Not great...

Visited based on previous reviews, but we weren't impressed. We sat outside on the terrace for a long time before anyone came to serve us and by the time they did, we'd already gone to the bar to get our own drinks. No one came back to take our food order, so we ordered that at the bar as well. The lady working the bar insisted on opening a tab, which we did, but a short time later when I asked if I could put another round of drinks on the tab (which again, I had to go to the bar for myself) I was told "we're not doing tabs anymore as it gets too complicated" (???)

Ordered two burgers and a toastie with a portion of chips to share. We got one burger, a toastie and the chips, no second burger. Food was greasy and fairly unpalatable when it arrived after a half-hour wait. We couldn't be bothered for the second burger and cancelled it, but it turns out it was never ordered in the first place.

Not sure how they got some of the glowing reviews they have, but we learned later it's changed hands on the last couple of weeks. That explains a lot...

So where do I start, I came to this bar on my holiday with my boyfriend for the Happy hr. Beer was really nice thats why I've put 2 stars but the customer service was disgusting. My boyfriend and I came for a nice drink which would of gone on a lot longer than happy hr but one of your staff started flirting with my boyfriend which made us both feel very uncomfortable she was slamming about in the frigde right next to us both and was shaking her bottom about trying to get my boyfriend's attention!! I work in customer service very high up and would never feel this would be appropriate. In fact this made us leave. I've been in some lovely bars with beautiful girls that never felt the need to make mmother customers feel this way. Customer service goes a long way in my book and as a business owner I would feel this to as its about bringing the money in and that is definitely not!! The way to go about it.
