Thea's coffee shop — Restaurant in Yaiza

Visited this little ice-cream parlour on one of our final days in Lanzarote, the building was clean and well presented, had a brilliant view of the beach and overall felt and looked like a great place to beat the heat so to speak.

Upon visiting we went straight to the ice-cream section, it housed about twelve or so flavours from the usual caramel to the unusual marshmallow and Minion flavours!

Sadly our browsing was cut short by the shop keep of whom seemed very pushy, we got a quick greeting then straight into "Pot or cone?" At this point we hadn't had a chance at looking at prices or what drinks and snacks were on offer.

After we were rushed though our order we had a very pleasant chill session due to the stores air conditioning and lovely ice cream.

Overall the experience was sadly dulled due to the quickly pushed sale and demeanour of our host but none the less the ice cream was refreshing, and the smoothies and cakes on display looked lovely not to mention the smell of freshly ground coffee added a certain charm...

I had a disappointing experience at this coffee shop. Unfortunately, they do not accept Google Pay, and I didn't have my cards with me. When I suggested that I'd go to my hotel to get the payment after we finished our ice cream, their response, "what if you're not coming back?" was quite offensive. Waiting with my 2-year-old daughter while my son had to retrieve my cards was far from ideal. This encounter left me with a negative impression of the customer service, and I hope they can improve their approach to handling such situations...

Not sure why the low rating for this place - we loved it! Literally the only place in the area that does proper iced coffees, would recommend for that alone. Our server was so friendly and helpful (both times we went on different days and the service was equally great). Lovely views of flamingo beach if you can get a table outside.
