At Rs. 6999 for the lunch buffet, Quizine delivers exceptional value, combining luxurious ambiance with a rich variety of dishes that cater to every taste. Here's a full review of my experience, covering the food, service, and atmosphere.

The open layout and well-spaced tables provide privacy, making it a great choice for both personal gatherings and business lunches. Large windows let in ample natural light, giving the space an inviting and relaxed feel.
Food Selection
The buffet at Quizine is truly impressive, offering a broad array of dishes from around the world, while also highlighting Sri Lankan flavors. The attention to detail in each dish is remarkable, and everything is presented beautifully. Here’s a breakdown of the key sections:

After enjoying the buffet, I also had the opportunity to visit the 23rd floor, where I noticed several other dining options like Staten Bar & Grill, Cloud Wine, Indiaya and Gatz, though many were not open during my visit. On the 24th floor, you’ll find the Cinnamon Life lobby, adding to the sense of luxury and refinement that permeates this impressive hotel.

Read moreI recently visited Cinnamon Life's Quisine Restaurant at City of Dreams for our office anniversary celebration, and it was a memorable experience overall, though not without some room for improvement.
First of all, the location is fantastic — the restaurant is situated in a stunning architectural building with beautiful views. The dining area is located on the 8th floor (if I remember correctly), which requires taking a lift up. The ambiance is incredibly welcoming, with a chic and modern design that makes it a pleasant place to spend time with a group.
As for the food, it was an impressive spread! The buffet offers a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, Sri Lankan, Japanese, and Italian. It's a true feast for the senses, and the variety of dishes is extensive. The restaurant is quite spacious, so it takes a bit of time to check out everything they have on offer. If you're a foodie, this place will definitely satisfy your cravings, with something for every taste.
However, while the food and setting were great, I felt the service could use some improvement. The staff was quite busy, and there was a sense that they weren't really willing to go the extra mile to assist guests. A notable example was when we had a custom-designed anniversary cake prepared by our chefs at the bakery. Unfortunately, we were informed that we could not cut the cake inside the restaurant due to food and safety guidelines. To clarify, we didn’t need to eat the cake — we just wanted to cut it as a symbol of the occasion, a small memory for our team. One of the staff members did try to accommodate us by offering to cut the cake outside, possibly in the lobby, but our request was denied by a senior staff member. This was a bit disappointing, and in the end, we had to take the cake back with us.
Overall, while the experience was generally positive, I hope the restaurant takes customer service to the next level in the future. With such a great location and variety of food, better service could truly elevate the...
