My recent visit to Ricorn Hotel & Bakers left me completely speechless! From the moment my taste buds embraced their exquisite delicacies, I knew I had discovered a hidden gem. This 5-star review comes with great excitement as I recount my extraordinary dining experience.
At Ricorn, we had the privilege to explore their unique take on traditional Sri Lankan street food. And boy, were we in for a treat! We ordered the Chicken cheese kottu and milk tea, and each dish surpassed our expectations.
The Chicken cheese kottu is a must-try! This unique twist on a classic dish showcased Ricorn' innovation and creativity. The succulent chicken was expertly infused with cheese flavors, resulting in a dish that was both exotic and incredibly flavorful.
To complete our meal, we opted for their famous milk tea, a beverage that is held in high regard in Sri Lankan culture. The rich and creamy texture of the tea combined flawlessly with the subtle hints of sweetness, creating a harmonious blend that was truly comforting. Sipping on this delightful beverage added a special touch to our overall dining experience.
Thank you to the entire team at Ricorn Hotel for a memorable evening. We cannot wait to return and sample more of your incredible culinary creations!

Read moreVisited for the second time! Here's what I had:
Masala Chicken Cheese Kottu (L) The portion of this large kottu was enough for three people. I visited with two friends, and by the time we finished this dish, we were almost full—and we're heavy eaters! It was super flavorful and a bit spicier than the other cheese kottu items on the menu. There were plenty of shredded fried chicken pieces in the kottu. Although it was superb, I would still recommend their cheese kottu over this masala cheese kottu. Both are fantastic dishes nonetheless.
Chicken String Hoppers Kottu (M) The medium-sized portion was more than enough, even for a heavy eater. There were plenty of shredded chicken pieces in the kottu, and the dish was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
Both dishes arrived at our table sooner than expected, despite the restaurant being quite crowded. The waiter was polite and attended to our needs with a smile.
Highly recommended!
Note: The place can get a bit crowded, but you can usually find a seat/table within a short time. There's room for improvement in cleanliness, but considering the constant crowd,...

Price Rs 780/= paid and receipt obtain and handedover to prep section for delivery. The delivery will be done in sequence and our sequence is 6 at that particular time. We recd our parcel after 20 mins and reached our destination. This food is meant for caretakers at hospital in house patient. At our dismay upon the parcel opened for consumption it doesn't contain the chicken and the quantity also less, and not worthy for the price we paid. The food was consumed and contacted RICON thru their website. Mr. Mazoon answered my call and I explained him the situation. He told me, was the parcel intact or consumed. I replied him "Consumed". He regretted for the fault and suggested he would adjust payment on any next takeaway. I am documenting to this as a piece of advise to cusomers to be vigilant when ordering takeaway at the prep kitchen side to avoid unnecessary return visit and reputation of your name (Miser) for not bringing chicken kothu by the eaters despite that you have ordered...
