From the perspective of a german who visited greek restaurants dozens of times, also went to Greece 2 times in the past and now visited Östersund in Sweden 🇸🇪, the Grekiska Grill & Bar there does not deserve more than 2/5 stars. First of all: Germany has a long tradition of very good (and bad) greek restaurants. But they all have one good thing in common: they share a very warm and original atmosphere and the spirit of Greece is displayed. Yes, they can sometimes be dark and old fashioned even - whether you like it or not. But they try to be authentic or traditional in various ways. The Grekiska Grill & Bar is a cold and modern restaurant room with plastic flowers and plastic grapes on the walls plus more or less indifferent service waitresses. The interior is cold and soulless. Most importantly, the food is insufficient (at least in my eyes). I ordered one of the higher priced "Special Dishes" and the food was not enough. I know that this is always very personal, but I have had plenty of comparisons in my life. We also had a plate of chicken gyros which almost had no flavor. The meat was lacking spices, love, craft and flavor and our 3 dishes in general simply were very "boring" pretty "plastic foodish" and therefore heavily overpriced. The Halloumi has nice taste and can be eaten as a side dish.
