A pretty good place to go out for a drink. They are open pretty late which is a plus.
They also have a good selection of beers to choose from.
I had the unfortunate experience of trying their food though. It tasted like it had been cooked in an old handbag. Everything on the plate had a distinct kind of leathery cigar-y aftertaste. It was quite cheap so that should maybe have been a hint as to the quality.
I also had a glass of wine which was not great.
I also inquired as to their ability to make cocktails and was a bit disappointed. They have a decent collection of bottles in the bar but maybe not the ability or the interest in making cocktails.
I'd say if you go there stick to beers and maybe a plate of fries or something. Hard to mess up...

I ordered their vegan pasta dish (the only vegan/vegetarian option) and they told me "sorry, we are out of vegan pasta, would you like our regular pasta with egg in it instead or potatoes?". I got the potatoes and they were the blandest, most boring boiled potatoes I've ever had. The sauce barely had any of the advertised ingredients, or at least did not look/taste like it did. I doubt it would have tasted good even with the pasta.
To their credit, the salad bar wasn't all that bad, but I question the hygiene because the tongs fell into the plates...
Read moreThis is one of my favorite lunch places in Gothenburg. All their lunch alternatives are great, tasty and with good portion sizes. Some dishes are available every day during the week and some unique for each day of the week.
My favorite is the "Pannbiff" (Salisbury steak) with mashed potatoes, onion gravy, sweetened lingonberries and pickles. Everything about this dish is amazing. Fresh ingredients, great taste and good portion size. Also, there is a salad buffet and fresh bread with garlic butter to top it off.
Service is great. All of this for 125 SEK.
HIGHLY...
