Jerntorgets Brygghus — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Hello all, as I told you in my previous review, I moved to Gothenburg, were I will stay for a while.

Description: the place is located in Jantorget, in the city Centre, close to Haga; the most famous area in Gothenburg; you will find it, just in front of 7/eleven the staff was terrible. Always so rude and just A S S H O L E; I am talking about the two tall guys at the bar. I already was there few months ago, and I experienced the same with the same guys. But last time, I had like the perception they were so busy and stressed; but this time I was there early afternoon, with just few people there. Prices: do not waste your money. I paid for one large and one small 148kr, almost 16-17 euros; food?! do not try it. My friends paid a fortune for some chips and cheese.

Just go to some other place in Jantorget. Avoid this, if you don't want waste a lot of...

One of my friends has been detained by the bouncers accusing that he unplugged a Christmas decoration and the guard rigorously applied force on him without any question when we are about to leave the place. The offer from one of the staffs was to pay 1000 SEK in 5 mins or call police. We opted for calling police as we are sure about not doing anything wrong. Police came and released my friend and dropped home. Later found out that they target people seem alone or in a small group to blackmail with an offer similar to the one mention above or complications related to police complaint. Pathetic and rude staff. To the owner, there are better ways to make money...

Very mixed experiences. Had a lovely, simple dinner with local dishes once. Sitting outside in the sun, watching the buzz around Järntorget.

Also had a cozy afternoon once with friends, sitting right at the window seats on a rainy day, watching the streets.

On the other hand, staff was unfriendly und unhelpful on all occasions. As soon as it becomes evening and the bouncers show up, the atmosphere becomes somewhat hostile. Plus, for a beer place there are close to none non-alcoholic beer options. Ended up...
