Utter disappointment. Never again.

We called ahead to confirm the opening hours and were clearly told the kitchen would be open until 21:00. Based on that, I booked a table for 20:00 which they confirmed. We arrived at 19:50, only to be told the kitchen was already closed. The excuse? “The person who gave you the info is new here.” Seriously? If your staff isn’t trained to give accurate information, why are they answering the phone?

This isn’t just a small miscommunication, it’s basic incompetence. A restaurant that prides itself on quality should at least have a functioning internal system. Instead, we got a shrug and zero accountability.

I came in with high hopes after hearing about Sophie from a Persian friend who bragged about it. I left annoyed, hungry, and frankly embarrassed for having a friend alongside me. Save your time. Gothenburg has far better places that actually know how to treat...

I recently celebrated my birthday at this wonderful restaurant, and everything was absolutely amazing! From the delicious food and beautiful cakes to the elegant decorations and thoughtful organization, they truly made it a night to remember.

I had the lunch for 129 kr and chose the "Kobide" which is a classic ground lamb kabab served with rice and grilled tomato. The service was good and the atmosphere is really nice. I've had food here before and enjoyed it. Today, unfortunately, was somewhat of a disappointment.

The kabab wasn't as tender as expected but the taste was ok. The rice was a bit undercooked and there was only one small tomato to join it. There was no presentation technique whatsoever, as you can see in the attached picture. It's unfortunate because this place can be good and the first step to that is to show some effort and passion into the cooking and presentation.
