Restaurang Yammy Kitchen — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Restaurant is bit pricey, the portions were pretty big but flavorwise is just ok. I had won ton soup. The meat in the soup was bit too sweet. I don't know why the dumplings in the soup were fried. They became totally soggy and unappetizing. We were very disappointed that customers have to pay for just regular tap water. Owner seems to think he is loosing money simply on tap water. So if you pay for another drink he is not loosing money and when when you just pay a lot for food he looses money cause you drank just tap water. Its unbelievable for a restaurant that serves both spicy and pretty salty foods. Just for that reason i didnt buy any drink, I am not contributing to that disrespectful policy. And I wont come there again. There is a lot of restaurants in Gothenburg which also have to pay same taxes and fees, everyone serves free tap water. It feels like very greedy attitude...

The food was good and the waitress that served us very nice. However, this review would have 4 stars if they served water for free. They charge 10 SEK for each glass, which I find very cheap. I understand, as a business you decide what to charge for and what not.

The food is comparatively expensive with other restaurants and the huge majority of places do not charge for water. Using the electricity, water filter and cleaning products as an excuse is not acceptable. (This was in 2020)

Delicious food. You use QR codes to order your food and drinks to your table. As for prices, we were two people paying a total of 1200 SEK for a three course meal and two drinks.

Only piece of criticism is that the tables are a bit small so it becomes inconvenient if you, like us, like to share food amongst your company. I understand, however, that this is not very common in Sweden, so accommodating for it might be beyond expectations for most restaurants. The people working there were willing to accommodate it anyway to the best of their abilities so we were more than satisfied with the service we received.
