Brewers Beer Bar — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Excellent location on a closed-off section of a busy street. The bar is smartly furnished using the space in an excellent way. It feels spacious and welcoming. For the last two years I have seen a lot of changes in the staff but never had any bad experiences. Waiters and bartenders were always professional.

Their beer is right there in the midst of Swedish Beerevolution with a variety of quality beers both worldwide and locally produced. You will not be disappointed. But, the real reason to visit Brewers is to sit outside eating one of their fantastic sourdough pizzas. Thin crusted, minimum of fat and just fresh ingredients. Just wonderful. Off course, pizzas have hipster names like Makin' Bacon, Brie my Baby and Bites Back, but they are just fantastic. Brewers is easy to find in a new Gothenburg hot spot street Tredje Långgatan (Third Longstreet...comes just after the Second Longstreet but just before the Fourth Longstreet :) ) If you are near the Järntorget or Linné Street...it is definitely...

To be fair the food was is truly good and I would say it is one the best pizza in town. However, the reception of the staff was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The good service shines when the place is full, I believe so. I hope the blonde non-Swedish waiter has this attitude in general, otherwise it is just sad to treat people differently when their hair looks different than yours. I do not tend to make a scene here but as a foodie who always wanted to try this place I am quite disappointed just by the treatment, the food was awesome though.

Update: I got good response from the CEO of thr company and a generous compensation of one of the co-founders. As I already mentioned the food and drink is amazing there so I recommend...

Really great pizza's! The combination of ingredients sound a bit strange. In practice, the pizza's are really amazing. You'll notice that they really tried to figure out the best way to make a good pizza. Ate here last Sat (I think), tried the Makin’ Bacon and Sweet Plantfeed. They don't have too much choice pizza wise but pretty sure everything they have is great. I actually prefer a small but good menu.

Service is really slow (not enough staff) and the dude either didn't sleep or was on drugs. E.g. immediately forgot what someone ordered, took 15min+ to pay, etc. We got the pizza's...
