This is a FABULOUS CAFÉ! 😁🤗😍 They serve the best Italian coffee in town, their bruschetta are delicious and taste like they do in Italy, the Italian pastries are superyummie and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Mahogny is owned by Arman who is a social star and who makes everyone feel right at home. Regulars from all over the world as well as people from Göteborg- göteborgare, chat, hook up and enjoy life! All to the sounds of soft jazz, bossa nova or Italian opera. I'ts also dogfriendly and there is even pictures and paintings of Arman's favourite dogs on the walls.This is a perfect place to relax and a piece of La dolce vita...

This establishment makes very good coffee but...at the cost of exploiting its employees.

In fact, the owner takes advantage of the poverty and lack of knowledge of foreign students to make them work in secret, by promising them a work contract that never comes... I myself was a victim of this practice, illegal of course, for two weeks :(

In order to fight against the exploitation of sensitive people, please avoid this establishment! All people have the right to decent working conditions...

Breakfast for 79kr that included a croissant, yoghurt with müsli, coffee and a "juice" (you could choose from almost all their drinks) was pretty neat. I however associate breakfast too much with sandwiches, so I bought a bruschetta for 72kr, which was really good! Recommended for cheap (albeit light) breakfast. Note that I dont like coffee nor tea, so I asked for 2 drinks...
