The Market Hall — Local services in Göteborgs Stad

Was here a month ago during lunch time and it was crowded (not surprising) with people doing a quick grab-n-go. What struck me was the close proximity of the stalls and how much variety they had. The close proximity did not bother me as it reminded me of packed street markets in South East Asia where I am from. If you are a foodie and like to view different types of cured meats, wild game and seafood options plus have a coffee and enjoy some pastries. This is the place to go, if you feel like you want to skip the crowd, do a grab-n-go or avoid lunch times. If you are in Gothenburg city center area, don't miss to enter this classical area. Metal frame and tin sheet covered hall about the size between tennis and football ground. Glass doors to enter, very clean passages and shops display on both sides. Beautiful and clean decorated shops with cheese and meat products, dry meat and sausage and cheese are available.
