The Bishops Arms, Park Avenue (Göteborg) — Local services in Göteborgs Stad

Nice bar for a beer and a whisky, or other drinks. There also is a bar menu available. The location is good, at the top of the main street in Gothenburg, and below the Elite Park Avenue hotel. The interior is fine, albeit nothing special. The bartenders were 50/50. One, with a beard and glasses, was uninterested and seemed to only want to sell the beer on tap (which isn’t great). When we asked about IPAs he only informed is about the draft IPA and not about the large selection of can IPAs in the fridges. He also had a rather poor understanding of whisky. All in all he seemed to fit poorly with his profession. The other bartender, also with a beard, no glasses, was much better. The prices are decent and the selection of beer, gin, and whisky is good. This is a nice place for a few beers, a whisky and a snack. Just order from the right bartender.

The Restaurant has a cozy and underground feeling. The restaurant resembles an English bar with many pictures of people from the past as well as cars and many city streets. The customer service seems good and welcoming.

The waiting time for food was pretty average. I ordered the "Chuck Burger Cheese" it sure was a meal that'll fill you up. The burger tasted alright and was well presented with french fries. One thing to note is that the burger doesn't come with any other sauce than just ordinary Heinz Ketchup. Unless that floats your boat I would recommend ordering another sauce to strengthen the taste.

Walking through a street filled with night club music, there's a safe spot in a basement. A sign emerges- "The Bishop Arms". A fullpledged pub. The bartender greets us with a pleasent "hello"! When questioned about the selection of beer, the bartender answered quickly and with knowledge.

The bartender gave tasters to cutomers who weren't to sure about the recomendations. Interestingly enough, every single one who got a taster, ended up ordering the recomendation.
