Nefertiti is a very known music club in central parts of Gothenburg which puts expectations on certain level. To my surprise the were only two parts of yesterday's experience that I evaluate with high marks: Music ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ and Service/personnel ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤. But these two can not take over the over all experience and if this place would like to get customers that come not only for 'a beer in their hands' I jotted down a few improvement areas: Following observations: 1. damaged chairs, 2. soap missing/not working on the toilette, 3. broken lights on the toilette and bad cleaning around the sink etc., 4. non fully transparent payment service (tickets bought online show first a certain price, later on there is an extra admin. fee added to it and on the top of that when arriving you have to pay extra again for hanging your coat by the entrance, 5. Menu contains "non-alcoholic drinks" that actually contain alcohol! Missleading and suprisingly shocking that there was NO beer or wine non-alcoholic, 6. Food: ok, but honestly Master chefs Junior would at least play with the "food design" if not with the content; absolutely not a place to come for good food or dinner. Fine - for those who want to drink a few beers while listening to good music and don't want to do that on an empty stumach. Regular lunch restaurants in the centrum offer better food dining experience! 7. Desserts: the spoons we got were not cleaned, there were stains on them! (Look at the pictures!) Summa summarum: Payments, transparency and smoothness ⛤; Hygiene ⛤; Interior ⛤; Food and drinks ⛤ In my opinion music is not everything customers are paying for at Nefertiti, otherwise they would choose an other form of musical performace&place. If Nefertiti has a future than there must be some considerate improvements done! P.S. Fix the toilettes and the broken chairs and plz, put some more drinks on the menu! You got some improvements to do! Good...
Read moreInformation about wardrobe I got in my email when I booked the tickets: "Garderob / Vi har en bemannad garderob på plats där man kan hänga in sin vinterjacka." When I got to Nefertiti, I was forced to pay for wardrobe. It is not like I can use it if I want. It was mandatory to leave your jacket in the wardrobe. Something mandatory that is not included in the price, and it is not informed to the guest upon booking.
I feel that clear communication is missing from Nefertiti (that they are somewhat tricking people). By the way, the cheapest beer there costs 100 kr. So, if you start counting tickets, plus mandatory wardrobe you had no idea you were forced to pay for, plus beer... yeah, it gets expensive.
The place is okay, otherwise. Toilets were under maintenance, so you needed to go outside to use the temporary ones (they were quite good and clean for temporary toilets, I must say). The service was also good, in general. The staff was nice and welcoming.
EDIT: After reading the owner's reply, I just wanted to clarify that we did indeed order the cheapest beer, and we paid 100 kr for each. If the cheapest one was not available, then your staff should tell us. Yet again, it was 100 kr per beer that we paid for the cheapest one. Regarding the wardrobe situation, claiming that it is "standard service" is just avoiding the question. What is standard for you? For me, standard is giving all the information to your customer on your homepage/confirmation email. Like, for example, writing that wardrobe is mandatory to pay for and the cost of it. Otherwise, it is just a lack of transparency in your communication, which might misslead your customers (I maintain my viewpoint that I feel tricked). Nonetheless, I appreciate your reply...
Read moreCrazy good place!!! Real and well-played music, fantastic vibe. Some nights, I literally felt like I can listen and dance to this all night long! For those who likes to enjoy a good evening on weekends with or w/o companion. I was introduced to this by a friend when I first moved to Göteborg. He was a regular himself when he was in the his 30s. It has been like three years, I have become somehow a regular myself. There has been many concerts, none of them ever let me down. Very satisfying indeed. If one day I am leaving Sweden, this is one of those things I definitely gonna miss a lot. Good to know: book your concert ticket ...
