Poptea — Restaurant in Göteborgs Stad

Stumbled upon this relatively newly opened bubble tea place in Haga. It is a cozy, quite small café with a big variety of teas, coffees and shakes. They have outdoor seating as well. The english-speaking staff was so kind and helpful.

We ordered a warm jasmine milk tea (tapioca pearls included) along with a green grape fruit tea (popping balls included). The tapioca pearls were so soft and perfectly chewy, not sure if they are homemade but almost felt like it. The flavour of the green grape was just like in Asia. A tasty and comforting experience overall.

They have a nice dessert menu as well, including chinese crepes. With good prices, customisation options in ice and sweetness, and pleasant atmosphere, this is a new favourite in Gothenburg. I will definitely be...

We were really looking forward to some boba, but was really disappointed to have the tapioca pearls replaced with little square bits. Such a shame because the drinks were well-made and flavorful, except not what we ordered. This was purchased through Wolt and we received no notification of substitution, but I did get a call from the delivery guy, so they had my contact info. Picture before we realized none of us...

Really nice Bubble Tea in town! We had the taro and brown sugar bubble tea, with 2 egg tarts and 2 egg waffles puffs with tapioca. We also had their savoury egg pancakes and it was tasty. We loved it, will definitely come back! Owners are really nice and friendly. The place is also dog friendly....
