This cafe offers a charming setting for soaking in the local culture and indulging in a bit of people-watching. The staff struck a great balance between efficiency and friendliness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Their cinnamon rolls are huge. I managed to get through just a quarter of one and had to save the rest for later. One thing to note is that if you're expecting the classic Cinnabon-style warm, gooey, soft, sweet cinnamon roll, you might be disappointed. This version had an interesting twist, with hints of various spices, perhaps even a touch of ginger, alongside the cinnamon. The roll itself was served cold and dry, but was softer as I got closer to the center. One small drawback to keep in mind is that the cafe only has a single bathroom. Be prepared for long lines, which can be as lengthy as those at the ordering counter. Although it's undeniably a tourist trap, I visited willingly and had no regrets. Do I regret visiting? No. Will I revisit? Probably not.

Social media famous Cafe Husaren serves the biggest cinnamon roll I’ve ever seen in my life. Their Hagabullen (110SEK) might seem pricy but trust me when I say it lasts for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I found it interesting that despite calling it cinnamon bun there’s heavy cardamom spices, which I personally enjoy but might be disliked by some people. With that said, the dough itself was a bit too dry for my taste (especially the outer layers) which was helped by my dirty chai (59SEK). Chai itself was quite big in portion (I am sensing a trend here) but milky with not enough chai flavour. Place had an old cottage house vibe but got packed a few hours after opening. There’s only one washroom (locked with passcode typed on your receipt) so lines can often get long. It’s a counter service but the lady was kind and friendly enough.

Classic Gothenburg café that has been the original one of the monstersize cinnamon roll. Genuine atmosphere where you have the classic feeling of the old Gothenburg. But let's go straight to the point here. After the new ownership, they oversize pretty much everything to be able to also oversize the prices. Everything you see in there is without any price tag. Instead, they have a Swedish menu hanging in another direction where you have to relate your product to a category. This has become a scamming tourist trap. A classic fika will easily become a couple of hundred SEK. We all know the margin of cream, sugar, and Java beans. So it's just ridiculous. But hey, we have a free market. Enjoy! Otherwise, I recommend all neighbors to sell the same for half the price and get some of the millions spinning here :)

Always worth a visit ! The tourist café actually has a super quality and the huge cinnamon bun MUST have tried. A little warm with a very tasty cappuccino simply unforgettable. The zimtschbecke costs the equivalent of about 9€ and is good to eat with 6 people. Everyone has a small piece and can try, but eats not too full to eat another delicious cookie or other treats from the cafe. Not everything quite cheap but qualitatively as well as from the taste experience to recommend. We thought that such an overrun café by the rush of tourists can not keep up with the quality but thought wrong - really super tasty and so good that we have taken another and you can also easily pack as a "to Go" cinnamon bun as a souvenir for the dearest.

* 😍 Pleasantly surprised by the unique and delicious taste of cakes and bakery items at Café Husaren * It transports you to a bygone era at the old cafes of Haga Street, Gothenburg. 👑 * 🍰 Tempting treats on display were too irresistible to resist * 🍩 Traditional cakes and assorted pastries with distinct flavours #cinnomonbun * 🥧 Evident care and attention to detail in bakery items * 👏 Met expectations of taste * 😮 Exceed expectations of ambiguous and beautiful presentation of bakery items. * 🚫 Note: Strollers need to be parked outside the cafe * #CaféHusaren #DeliciousTreats #BakeryItems #Yummy #AttentionToDetail #ExceededExpectations #StrollerParking #Foodie #TasteBudDelight #biggestcinnomonbun

We came to Sweden on a trip. In the morning, the local guide showed us this place and told us about Kanelbulle. We tried it and it was the best. Later in the evening we came to the shop again to buy the same (as we will not have this again for a long time). But unfortunately, it was sold out. But I really want to point out 1 fact, the lady behind the counter was very friendly and her gestures were very cute. She had been talking to all very kindly in the morning and even in the evening she had the same way of treating people. She was very kind and energetic. I would like sincerely appreciate her 👏👏👏 Thank you for the good dessert and experience in Sweden.
