The food here is a student life saver especially interms of the amount of food you get for the price.

The staff is always super friendly and greet you with a smile and they are always helpful

There is a good variety of burgers and other dishes that all taste nice. and feel like they use fresh ingredients.

The one thing about Mel's diner is that the food is quite heavy so after eating at Mel's you feel like you'll go into a good coma.

But as a student Mel's will always be a solid choice for lunch...

Two vegan options. I had one of them: their lentil patty burger with fries. It was ok, definitely not awful but not very tasty either. The fries were good though. We ordered some small snacks which took way too long to be delivered. What eventually did get delivered was really goot though! A fried of ours ordered a take-away salad which came on a regular plate.
