Khao Soi by Jane — Restaurant in undefined

Small and crowded Thai cafe with very small selection of Thai dishes. Quite crowded and easy to see why.

Ordered the Kha Soi Gai (curry soup noodless with chicken). Thumbs up for the soup, it's fragrant, light and pretty authentic with spices. This is probably the signature dish. Comes with regular egg noodles and generous pieces of chicken.. and that's it. It's a delicious dish no doubt, but I'm slightly disappointed they don't offer more toppings like bean sprouts or fried tofu slices which are quite common. It'd also be nice if they offer a selection of noodles eg flat rice noodles or glass noodles instead of the default egg noodles.

The Cha Yen or milk tea is pretty delicious and authentic. Strong tea flavour and with foam. Also appreciate the use of paper straws instead of plastic.

Recommended place, if you like slightly spicy and authentic Thai cuisine. Choices of food are limited but it's not...

Visited here again after a year since my last visit. Ordered beef Khao Soi, flovourful soup. The beef Khao Soi apparently was super delicious as well and the quality and quantity of beef was great. Sometime you get the fatty and greasy bit of beef when you eat local noodles but here it is good cut of beef. it’s delish👍🏼 you fancy more spicy than the original they made, you can of course ask for extra chili in my case I did which was just right. They also have bubble milk tea menu which was very good. I usually ordered takeaway and the staff went above and beyond to pack it neatly so it won’t spilled while I bike back home😊 Whenever I’m missing home I’ll make sure to come here to get that warm comfort noodle dishes....

We had a very bad experience in this restaurant. It was a -10 degree day. We stood outside the restaurant for 10 minutes. The stuff saw us, but he slooooooly came and opened the door one min after the opening time. No smiling, no apology. We were the first customers, so we wanted to seat beside the window with. However we were not allowed to choose any seat but the tiny table in a back corner. I asked for the reason, the staff was very rude and told us they just want to. I am not very sure why he given us this attitude and treatment. I was so angry and left. This is serious the first time I experienced this kind of thing in a restaurant. Just simply TOP unpleasant.
