Inferno — Restaurant in Lund Municipality

• I stopped myself for editing my previous review, and tried to think about it and let it go first, but here is my edited review after 3 weeks *

Recently, I was at Inferno with one of my friends and we had a meal and a few beers. However, after just two drinks, the serving person abruptly told us that we had to stop drinking because they believed we had have enough. We were surprised by this sudden announcement, as we felt that we were not intoxicated and able to continue drinking responsibly. This experience left us feeling rushed and unwelcome, and we believe that the pub's behavior was unfair and potentially unwarranted. While we understand the importance of responsible alcohol service, cutting off customers after just a few drinks based on personal opinion or just because they want to make some places free, is not conducive to a positive and safe environment. It's important for the pub to assess their customers based on their level of intoxication, rather than making assumptions based on personal bias or opinion. Most uncomfortable chairs! The decoration is quite horrible with tasteless art and an amateurish wall painting that literally depicts hell. This place should rebrand themselves to a more pleasant atmosphere, and especially change those horrible chairs. Both the drinks and food are extremely overpriced, which is very greedy considering the location of the place is right in the center so there is no problem getting customers. Also the water in the bathrooms doesn't flow normally and there are smashed mirrors for several years. This place needs to be repaired, cleaned and brightened up. Fantastic interior, with ok staff. The beer is very overpriced. Inferno convinces you that the special beer brands are somehow more expensive. The beer is not particularly interesting for its price. Though it all makes up for it with its lovely menu and interior design. It feels like a high class pub and likely paints itself after it. If you have money to spend this is the place.
