A good museum to visit for those who have interest in history. A handbook is available at the entrance in Swedish as well as English explaining the floor plans of the museum. Also the staff at the reception is very helpfull. There are many relics from the stone age, iron age as well as the Viking era. It has also a good collection from after the AD as well as Before Christ. Also they have section with coins from different centuries. They have lockers and a shop on the ground floor. Also the lift is one of the oldest in Skane

Surprisingly large collection from a vast span of time and place tucked into such a modestly sized, but historically relevant building. While there are artifacts from both Egypt and the South Pacific, the focus is clearly on Scandinavia and southern Sweden in particular. Only a relatively small subset of the exhibits have English labels so non-Swedish speakers have to put in a bit more effort. Worth a visit if you're interested in local history, read Swedish and have keen eyesight for some dimly lit signs.

The exhibition begins with the history of the museum and traces back to the origins of civilization, featuring artefacts ranging from Stone Age weapons to liturgical items and ancient coins. The zoological gallery has been relocated, and the cathedral museum is currently under renovation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free admission for students and retirees.

When we visited the museum it was free to enter where we were greeted by super friendly staff at the entrance. It's really cool that you can experience so many different time periods in the same place - and at the same time also have the opportunity to get to know the Swedish, Scanian and Scandinavian culture better.

Full of history, good place to pass the time. Disappointed when purchasing the tickets staff didn't tell us that 2 of the museum's are closed for renovations. I understand reservations happen but why are the tickets still the same price. At the end of the day everything else was good.

The museum is small but there is real work on the exhibitions, especially on the ground floor with the history of Lund University. Upstairs, the collection of wooden religious art is impressive. You will be warmly welcome at the entrance. I look forward to seeing the next exhibition!
