It's an okay place, but for the prices I will not come again.
I had a calette on the menu that stated "Noah". With ham, egg, mushrooms, greens & cheese.
It was decent. Not the best, but not the worst food I've tried. I questioned the canned flavor i picked up from some of the ingredients, & even if it was a meal that satisfied my hunger it did not match the price for me.
it took a long time to prep with little to no word from staff as to an estimate.
There was a sign that said wait to be seated, but we seated ourselves as they asked us too.
Staff seemed to have gotten some things lost in communication between each other too, so the overall atmosphere was weird because they were preoccupied and not very customer focused at all..
Even if they answered our questions it was not with that friendly professional approach, even if we were friendly towards them.
It gave me the impression something was going on behind the scenes that day that had aggitated them. Because of flashes of tension and annoyance was felt as I was observing the situation.
Near where we sat later there was one of the staff that was complaining loudly about having too much to do and not enough people, it was audible enought that I heard it, despite my talking to my company at the time. And I observed the overall atmosphere, something was missing...
It was that sense of "Hospitality" that I remember from my last visit (Yes I have been here twice, but last time I went I had never made much worth of reviews before.)
I'm not sure we even caught them on a bad day, because it seems multiple people have notived the same thing I did. As I've read the reviews now after the fact. But I can really only speak from my own two visits that the last time it was much friendlier and the atmosphere felt more welcoming, despite the place being full of people that time and this time barely even 5 tables occupied and not more than 2-4 people on them.
I did see reservation signs though so you CAN reserve a table in advance.
Overall. This was the last visit. Because even if the food was flavorful, it might be because at the time It got there I was so hungry I could have eaten a sandwhich and considered it the best meal in the world.
Granted disclaimer for the long wait, There appeared to be only one person working the kitchen who seemed busy handed enough without us presssing for the hunger.
I personally felt like with that situation and the graded popularity of this place, for such a variety of dishes there needs to be 2-3 people in the kitchen for the job to be better efficient, one on the callettes, one on the toppings, one on final presentation and one on serve. Food will have that awkward flavor of "meh" , and today, despite coming in well cooked and all, it was Meh. It was like something was...
Read moreUpdate: We could book a table on Friday directly through email. The restaurant booked us on a perfect 2 person table in a calm area with a view.
The crepes tasted very good. The dough/texture tasted really well and all ingredients matched and went well together. The portion is great matched with the price, very generous with toppings and size. We ordered French cider and it tasted really good too.
Thank you to have come back to us and for the discount as well. Would definitely visit again.
Original: We came monday around 7pm, they said we needed to book. We then booked online at 9pm (it was not even the last slot, which was 10pm) on thursday; they said they are sorry they closed already. So we did come two times and we did eat zero time. The crepes may taste good, but how to know if they don’t let us eat there… Thank you for...
Read moreThis is a definite MUST-GO place if you are ever in Lund. The cozy, ambience with a nautical theme that is carried throughout the first and ground floor, make the dining experience so amazing. The staff were very cordial, and the only reason I’ve given it a four star ok service is because the time they took to bring our food, was too long. However, it is the crepes that are the stars of the show. Each one of them has the perfect combination of ingredients - not too many, not too few - and clearly of high quality. Combinations like garlicky potatoes with Brie, spinach and Gouda leave you longing for one more crepe, but the quantity of each portion is large enough that one crepe alone can fill you up. So if you want to try more than one, which I think you must, bring a healthy...
