La Trattoria — Restaurant in Malmö kommun

First our reservation made on their website wasn't valid even I revived a sms with confirmation. So when we get there we got the table but with information "you have to leave by 20pm due to another booking" We decided to stay. Our antipasti appetizer was amazing and it set our expectations hug fit the mains. But we got disappointed. My husband is claiming that his carbonara was ok but to small portion. My pasta dish was sooooo spicy (chilli in Italian dish) that I thought I was in Mexican place. The dish itself was ok, even though the portion was small too I couldn't finish it due to overwhelming chilli taste. I felt that my mouth are on fire so I ordered some dolce. Decent restaraunt for the most part, way to salty for all of us. We asked if they had a kids menu and they said they could give him some pass and tomato sauce.

When they asked us how it tasted, we told them it was soso, too salty for our taste and my wife and son both didn't like the uncooked chewie core in the pasta.

And they reply "You should have said something, we could have made them again", while we are still in the restaurant and they just for the first time asked us how it tasted and we answer them.

We got fully charged, even for the 2-year-old (no discount for children) and my wife that both did not eat their food.

So we left quite disappointed, probably...

La Trattoria was a decent option when we found ourselves needing a last-minute place to eat, with other spots either full or closed. The pasta dishes were properly cooked but unfortunately lacked a bit of flavor—I had to add salt, something I've rarely needed to do at an Italian restaurant.

We ordered shrimp fritters, but they arrived cold and still partially frozen inside, which was disappointing.

However, the service stood out positively—our server was friendly, attentive, and sincerely apologetic about the mishap.
