My partner and I were feeling indecisive when choosing where to have dinner on our one year anniversary, so we narrowed down out options to four restaurants and chose at random. We landed on Sauvage and I am honestly so happy we did.
The seasonal menu was a perfectly designed small plates style collection of contemporary light meat, seafood and vegetable based dishes, inspired by the owner/head chef David via Paris. The focus is on wine, both natural and old school, but I tried a cocktail as well. The Caravan #2 is a riff on a classic Manhattan. It was really great, well balanced with a kick and a delicious cherry.
Will come back and try the...
