My partner and I were feeling indecisive when choosing where to have dinner on our one year anniversary, so we narrowed down out options to four restaurants and chose at random. We landed on Sauvage and I am honestly so happy we did.

The seasonal menu was a perfectly designed small plates style collection of contemporary light meat, seafood and vegetable based dishes, inspired by the owner/head chef David via Paris. It's rare that I'd say the food was perfect, and even rarer that I'd say it about French cuisine, but I will loudly proclaim that the offerings at Sauvage encapsulate that word down to its core.

We were looked after by Daniel, who took us on a journey throughout the evening and explained food and drink options with great passion and knowledge. The service was friendly, personable, intuitive and walked the fine line of being attentive without being invasive. Timing between courses was perfect and suggestions for an unplanned desert turned out to be most welcome.

The venue itself was cosy, with a candle lit wooden interior with big windows overlooking outdoor seating, a perfect space for any occasion, however casual or special.

Thank you very much Sauvage team! We will be back to try the winter menu and sample the amazing...

After reading several good reviews, we decided to try Sauvage to see if it lived up to the hype. The location is convenient and easy to reach, but unfortunately, our experience was not satisfied .

From the start, the staff seemed unfriendly and didn’t offer so much as a smile, which set the tone for the evening. The food itself was just mediocre – nothing particularly memorable or special.

We were three people, and the bill came to 600 kr per person, which felt overpriced given the quality of the food and service. Sadly, we left feeling underwhelmed and won’t be in a...

Sauvage is a cozy restaurant and wine bar. I only came for a drink but wasn't disappointed. The wine list is very ambitious and there is a lot to choose from. The focus is on wine, both natural and old school, but I tried a cocktail as well. The Caravan #2 is a riff on a classic Manhattan. It was really great, well balanced with a kick and a delicious cherry.

Will come back and try the...

Definitely a up and coming restaurant in Malmö with a fantastic kitchen and incredible service. We felt at home from the first second and each dish was special and a incredible taste experience! Price / value equation is fantastic compared to pricier options like Lyran. Absolutely recommend anyone coming here!
