Well, well, well. What do we have here. Good reviews got us here and trying out the fish'n'chips with a few accomodating beers. First, the beer selection on tap has been reduced since they changed ownership. Maybe they compensate it with a better offering of bottles which I didn't check out. Then, the food. Or rather, the blend of unsalted tasteless not yet done fish meets soggy batter. I'm no far from an expert on fish'n'chips since I've eaten under ten of these in my life but my fellow company for the evening hadn't had any worse. Anywhere, anytime. And they have eaten quite a lot of fish'n'chips. Added to this was the tiny portion of chips, but the dip was quite tasty imo. No sight of the promised pickled greens. Or any other greens for that matter. Oh, well, maybe the added lemon slice was meant to make up for that. Except for my friend who didn't get any. All "this" for 225 SEK... sigh. Plus, the bartender probably have had better evenings as his level of ignorance was not very charming or welcoming. Shape up! You do need happy customers you know. So all in all a quite bad experience. We won't give them another chance, there are much better places to eat at. Interesting fact: Green Lion seems to be owned by the same people running a few of the best restaurants in the region and they are absolutely fabulous, but this, this was really bad. Get your act together, I...

Still plus for Guiness and Belgian beers on tap, but several times now I had Guiness not poured how it should be (need to train those serving!) The great Fish'n'Chips go very well with the good beers. The triple-bad Guiness-serving experience and deteriorating customer service called for lowering the rating (my previous comment about specific relatively older female bartender being grumpy and unpolite - with owner now trying to suggest it was at different place - was from an older review, but I did say also then that the offer and the ambiance offset that experience). Please pay attention to properly serving customers and I will keep coming back and telling others about this...
Read moreFrom the same group of restaurants as the 2 star Michelin restaurant Vollmers, Green Lion promise “Comfort food” that is suppose to be “Fingerlicking good”. The reality is however something completely different. The restaurant serve low quality, semi processed food with no focus on local, ecological or in season ingredients.
Throughout the evening the service was nonchalant, unwelcoming, lacked both skill and food knowledge.
To conclude, the atmosphere in the bar area is welcoming however both the food and the service have a...
