My husband and I were only passing through Malmö and had a couple of hours to spare, we had read about the amazing meatballs at Bullen and just knew we had to have dinner there. We didn’t book, we just showed up, we greeted by a super friendly waitress who showed us to a table outside. To start we had Garlic Bread with Aioli - some of the nicest garlic break we’ve had in years, very crunchy with an intense garlic taste. for main we both had to have the Köttbullar - Veal meatballs with whisky cream sauce, pickled cucumber, lingonberries and mashed potatoes - absolutely delicious, the best meatballs we’ve ever had, tender and hearty, the sauce was thick and flavoursome and the added extras really helped complete the meal. All washed down with Hastal Beer. This was the perfect meal to enjoy in Malmö to get us ready for the next part of our trip.
