Bröderna Olssons Garlic & Shots — Restaurant in Stockholm

Flew into Stockholm for a couple of nights, staying in the Sodermalm area. Googled nearby places, as my stomach was eating itself, and this one came up. The concept sounded cool so I thought I'd check it out.

I walk in, unsure of whether or not to seat myself. Had the vibe of a biker bar of sorts, not really my thing but I'm in Stockholm for an experience. Let's do it. I stood at the bar for 5-6 minutes. There are maybe 4 or 5 other people at the bar, with food and full drinks already.

Bartender does not even look at me. Several staff members pass me by without saying hello or offering to seat me. I'm obviously there. So I take a seat at a nearby table and grab my own menu. I decide on what I want and try to flag someone down to place an order. No luck. I go back to the bar, and stand there, menu in hand, for 10 minutes.

The food smelled great. Too bad the only thing I can evaluate is the service. I literally would have gotten better service...

It was a huge disappointment despite the nice decoration and style of the place. We were a company of 10 persons, ordered our dishes (not that complex... just burgers) and after 1 hour and 15 minutes delay, and prior to two notifications from our side for waiting, came our dishes.... The taste was a bigger disappointment since everything were stuffed with garlic... Yeah yeah I know it is the place's motto supoosing that this taste should be expected, nevertheless drowning everything in garlic isn't something innovative and gastronomic interesting. Last but not least the service was even worse. Not a single apology for the delay from the waiter. When we asked about the delay he ignored us and the second time said it will come shortly (which it did not). And while we were eating he did not even wait us to finish and started cleaning the tables as if he wanted to get rid of us with a quite aggressive...

Very rude staff! DON’T GO THERE! I was going to meet a friend to have dinner there. I arrived earlier so I went in, a guy with a mohawk who was smoking outside walks in after me and says in a very rude tone: We’re closed! I asked when was it going to be opened and he said: at 5pm. I looked at my watch and it’s 4:54pm. I said it’s ok I’ll just wait here. He then used that same rude tone to say: No, you can’t, get out! I replied: I’m meeting a friend to have dinner here. Can I please just wait inside those 6 minutes before you open? It’s really cold outside today. (Temperature outside was -5 degrees Celsius). He rudely and agitated said: NO! We’re closed! Can’t you see it’s empty! Get out!!! I left and went to have dinner somewhere else. I’m never coming back!! Would give it 0 stars if...
