La Mano är en skulptur till minne av de svenskar (drygt 500) som deltog och föll offer (170) i Spanska inbördeskriget 1936-39 på den republikanska sidan, i försvar av demokratin och dom revolutionära framgångar som uppnåtts främst i norra Spanien. Storgodsägarnas jord fördelades till bönder och brukare och arbetet demokratiserades i städerna så att arbetarna förvaltade och styrde sin arbetsplats. La Mano står diskret på Katarinavägen, från vars plats en av Stockholms vackraste utsikter...
