It was Jan 1st 2023, along with my wife and my 15 month daughter visited the restaurant for brunch and it was about -2~3 degrees outside.
After entering inside, a healthy blonde waitress told us that, waiting time is abt 45 minutes and there are 6 more people ahead of us.
Already starving heavily and not many options that day, decided to wait rather.
After appx. 30~35 minutes of waiting outside, I decided to enter inside and asked her kindly for my spot ? she responds back,
âI donât know, you just need wait for the textâ & I politely responded âmy 15 month old daughter is freezing and whether she can consider speeding up by anywayâ.
At this point, I obviously didnât expect a âyesâ, just an âok or weâll try or atleast for eg; 1-2 ppl ahead of youâ would have been great!
Instead she responds back, âSOOO WHAT, OTHERS IN LINE ALSO HAVE KIDSâ (and clearly there were none, lol)
We waited for another 15~20 minutes for the text and finally got our spot.
I think this blonde waitress needs some help and learn some empathy towards her customers from whom she actually makes her living.
@GreasySpoon - personally I love your food but 1 star to employ such an indecent and inhuman waitress, who has literally â0â empathy even...

The impeccable service, the tantalizing lattes, and the delectable shared plates were more than enough to satisfy our gastronomic cravings.
From the first sip, the lattes - a creamy blend concocted with OatMilk - were nothing short of ambrosial. They were so phenomenal, in fact, that we splurged, blew our daily latte budget and order a round to go.
The shared plates were a symphony of flavors, with the blueberry pancakes stealing the show. Every bite was a harmonious blend of sweetness and comfort, reminding us of lazy Sunday mornings and breakfasts in bed.
Stepping into Greasy Spoon, you are instantly transported to your favorite nostalgic college town café in the heart of the US, albeit with a slightly steeper price tag. But don't let that deter you. The ambiance is a warm embrace of familiarity, a comforting nudge towards the good old days. The vibe is infectious, the charm irresistible.
Having had such a memorable experience, we can hardly wait for our next visit. Our hearts are set on exploring the plethora of other options that caught our eye...
Read moreI was on holiday in Sweden and came into the greasy spoon for a quick brunch with low expectations after not having visited a greasy spoon in many years (the last time was in the UK), everything here was well above my expectations and the blueberry pancakes were not only delicious but looked absolutely stunning, I spoke with one of the cooks who was a Greek guy called John (or yianni in his language) and he was very friendly and seemed very passionate about his work which definitely showed with the quality of the food, the other staff I spoke with were just as friendly even though I don't speak a word of Swedish. Also the unlimited coffee refills were a lot higher quality than I was expecting which is a very good thing as I'm very picky with my coffee. All in all given my initial expectations I would give these guys an 11/10 and next time I visit Sweden, the greasy spoon will be one of the places I'm excited to return to. Congratulations to the whole team for the delicious food and inviting atmosphere and especially to yianni since you made my day. I highly recommend this place for anyone living in or...
