Great restaurant for a treat mid-week. Itâs mid-range in price, but top shelf on what they serve. It has an unpretentious local brasserie ambience that attracted elderly locals, politicians and celebrities flying under the radar on the Tuesday evening that I was there. Three mains and two deserts were top notch at our table. Extra plus for a superb dessert soufflĂ©. I appreciate the blackboard menu instead of individual ones. If I am to have one gripe itâs this; as a guest, who beyond reasonable doubt also can read, I donât need the menu read to me. The menu varies (the entire staff had just visited Italy before my second visit so there were tasty Italian tweaks to the menu) and the staff happily discuss what's on offer, explaining all the ingredients and methods. The sommelier is highly knowledgeable, and happy to give very specific recommendations. We took his advice, and enjoyed some fabulous food and wine combinations...
