Their fabrics are really renowned all the world around The designs are mainly nature motives, with Caribbean cacao fruits and lots of colours or simple water melons. Many of his designs appear regularly in famous decoration journals. They are amazing really. The prices are also amazing since the pattern of the fabrics may repeat every 1,5 meters. There are some patterns very well know, the one that looks as a map of Manhattan, there is another well known that has elephants but this one its not designed by Frank. If you have such a fabrics this fabric will last forever the quality can not be better and it would never get "demodée" The furnitures with Franks 50's design are exquisites, the decoration items and lamps really elegant. Young Swedes may do not like this style that much since it can remind their grand-ma houses. But any people that like quality, elegance, colours and beauty should love 99.999% of the items of this...

Phenomenal Swedish design store with an illustrious history and strong values (all profits go to environmental and medical research). A must visit if you're in Stockholm. It was much larger than I expected, with a tea room and fabric section upstairs. Everything beautifully and tastefully designed.

If travelling one could buy an iconic glass acorn vase as a souvenir as they're packed in ribboned cardboard boxes reminiscent of Mendl's (mine survived a hand carry international flight...
