Restaurant Artilleriet — Restaurant in Stockholm

I've only been to Artelleriet once for lunch even though I work just around the corner, so this review is solely based on that experience.

The service is very good, professional and aiming high to built up the restaurant even more.

Even for lunch a half decent selection of wine and beer if you have a day off and are looking for lunch with a glass of beer/wine.

Nice environment in a old Stockholm style building, high roofs and plenty of room between the tables. You order at the till but that asides it is table service for anything else even for lunch. Suitable for a business lunch or a lunch for two.

Booking recommended.

Their website has today's lunch asides from a few standing options, saladas included which my vegatarin friend said was surprisingly good. I had a twist on a Swedish stew brisket which was well made, very balanced, even though the portion maybe was on the large side.

Pricewise it is the medium for this area. Which means 130 Swedish krona and up excluding any drink asides from water. But in this area of thown this is expected.

On a whole I'm giving it four stars. Was it not for the service after the till and the food it would have been...

Amazing place, location and an atmosphere. However, some of the ingredients are not mentioned in the menu. For example, I did not chose the burger because cilantro(coriander) was mentioned as an ingredient. Instead, I went with the lunch menu and it was full with coriander - not just topped (so I could have just removed it), but filled with, which completely spoiled the taste of the otherwise nice dish. It would have been nice if coriander was mentioned in the menu, so I could have picked something else, because I am one of those unlucky 10% of world’s population, which are genetically intolerant towards coriander and taste like soap...

If you will only ever have one cocktail in your life, go for the Summer Cake. You will not regret it... Everyone else, book the Cocktail Omakase to embark on a both very unique and equally pleasant roller-coaster ride of tastes and aromas, guided by the very knowledgeable and creative bartenders at Artilleriet. Just as with roller coaster rides, you'll most probably get to the end of it with the thought "I wanna go again!!" ringing in your head.
