Came to this restaurant and felt very rushed; the waitress gave us a few seconds to choose our drinks before she hovered over our table. After a while of this, we told her we did not want any to get her off our backs. We soon ordered our meals; (they tasted alright, nothing out of the ordinary) and were met with the same attitude. We visited this restaurant with one elderly woman who speaks little English. When she was about to order, the waitress goes “so um are you ordering or what??!!” and walks away, shaking her head and not saying anything.
The strangest part - at about 10:15 pm, two people sat at the table next to us and got some water, preparing to order food and drinks. When they were ready, they flagged the waitress who told them their kitchen and bar is closed?? Why would you allow someone into your restaurant if you have no intention of serving them food, let alone drinks?
As they were about to leave following this disappointing news, the waitress came over with a bill for their water - nearly 10 Canadian dollars - and kicked them out of the restaurant!
Google also says the restaurant closed at 11:30. Why would the bar and kitchen be closed at...
Read moreA mixed bag.... What I liked: the food, the staff and the location What I did not like: the music and the wannabee godfather at the entrance
I was here once for lunch, 1 time for dinner, both times alone. Lunch: they offer 3 different dishes for a special price of SKR145, and this comes with a salad buffet. Dinner: the menu as listed. I ordered a pasta. Good taste, good size, all OK
Staff: very friendly young people Location: centrally located, but you can figure that out on your own...
And then: The music: not only very bad music, but also very loud (at least when sitting outside). If you were to go here with other people, I would reconsider just on the music. It is all covers of great hits from the past, redone in a way that it is not a tribute to the original artists
The man at the door: if I were the owner, I would have him do something that adds value. If he is the owner, same, but then the problem is somewhat bigger. Yes, he is (or at least - speaks) Italian, but what is he doing! Walking around in a pinstripe suit. Maybe thinking that this will convince people to select this place for the 'Italian looks'?...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone and was the first one I visited with my family during our three-day stay in Stockholm. There were five of us, so I had the opportunity to sample different meals by sharing my dish with others. I wanted to try authentic local food, so I chose Gravlax (marinated red salmon). My dish was very good, and on the side, I had grilled "grilled mashed potato ," which I had never tried before—it was really nice. I also tried the "Köttbullar" (meatballs), and they were quite tasty.
The kids chose pizza, but I didn’t think it was very good; the pizza dough was tough. However, maybe someone who isn't familiar with real Italian recipes would enjoy it more. The desserts were decent, but nothing exceptional. Overall, I would rate the food at about 3/4 stars.
The service was good, and our food arrived within just 15 minutes. One positive aspect was that the restaurant accepts cash and euros. However, the exchange rate offered was not acceptable for us; if we had accepted it, the total price would have been 15 euros higher than if we had...
