TLDR: Bland and boring croque monsieur, could buy a better sandwich from literally any shop. The unique interior and helpful staff is the only reason I'd imagine coming back, maybe their other menu options are worth the cost.
We had lunch around 1300 on a Saturday, it was a constant stream of customers coming in which made it very crowded and busy due to the small interior.
I can only speak for the one dish I had, croque monsieur. It was very bland and disappointing. The cheese and ham was not high quality, it looked and tasted like the cheapest type of cheese and ham you buy from the local grocery store. The sandwich was not heated properly and the cheese inside was not even warm, not to mention melted.
The bread was nothing special, you can bake delicious white bread loaf, this was not it.
There are pictures from other reviewers of a nice salad to go with the sandwich, I however received only rucola salad, again something you get from the grocery store, with only a single, small cherry tomato.
But pretty cozy atmosphere with nice interior and very helpful...
Read moreWhere did this magical place come from? I'm so glad we came here. It is very sweet with a lot of fun sea decorations both inside and outside. We chose to sit outside because the sun was out and they deliver the food on a little windowsill which is cute.
We were pretty blown away by the "luxurious shrimp sandwich". I don't think they could have piled more shrimp on it. But then again, it was 235 SEK. It better be good. ;) The bread that was underneath it was almost like a pumpkin bread. It was sweet and delicious but I found it a strange combination. Towards the end I just ate them separately, and it was delicious.
We also ordered the sardines for 95 SEK. They came from the tin and were accompanied by a salad and the typical Swedish crunchy bread. It was a nice combo.
