Usine — Restaurant in Stockholm

We recently dined at Usine and while the ambiance is pleasant, the service was unfortunately incredibly rushed and unwelcoming. From the moment we sat down, we felt pressured to order, with the waitress immediately inquiring about drinks before we even had a chance to look at the menu. This pattern continued throughout the meal, with constant interruptions and an overall feeling of being hurried.

The waitress's aggressive approach, such as taking bread away while we were still eating (our Swedish friend had to tell her to relax a little! and then we realized that the waitress didnot even speak Swedish!) and constantly pushing for orders, created an uncomfortable and unpleasant dining experience. Despite the restaurant not being full, and had no waiting lines, we felt pressured to leave quickly. And the service was poor...while the waitress pushed menus at us, she didnot bring water, didnot bring a refill either!

While the food itself was decent, the VERY poor service overshadowed our meal. We had planned to enjoy a few more drinks after dinner, but the waitress's behavior made us feel so unwelcome that we decided to leave and continue our evening elsewhere.

Usine has potential, but the current service level is unacceptable. Hopefully the management addresses this issue and provide better training for their staff on customer service and hospitality. Allowing guests to enjoy their meal and conversation at their own pace is crucial for a positive...

Awful! Overcooked and super dry food with a side-dish of arrogance! We were eight people who all ordered ribs for lunch at Usine's "Bistro 38". The meat was unbelievably dry! In fact so dry that it became hard to cut through the meat! I spoke to the owner, Mr Perrelli who came to the table. He heard my complaint and went to the kitchen. Nothing - NOTHING - happened! I didn't receive a new dish and I had to pay FULL prize, which I was reluctant to do. My lunch break is limited and I didn't have the time nor the energy to start arguing there and then. I will never return and I advise anyone who is considering to eat there not to. Don't waste your money, take your business elsewhere. My visit at Usine not only left me feeling robbed for my money and hungry (the inedible dishes are usually too small) - I'm also angry and extremely disappointed. The restaurant has a nice and modern vibe. We came at 17:00 and the music was not loud like some reviews mentioned here.

But, if other reviews say the restaurant is pricey yet does not taste that superb, unfortunately I have to agree. We had Grillad Ryggbiff and Pasta Gamberi. One can feel that the ryggbiff is of good quality and they cook it well, it's just that the seasoning doesn't quite meet one's expectation. The pasta was also lack of flavour, according to my taste.

As for the waiters: the one that served us was rude and slow. When we asked for the bill, he went around the restaurant instead. At one point he played with his phone at a table near us. 😶 So I asked for the bill to his colleague instead, then he gave it to us. What an interesting attitude that waiter has.
