Choys Garden — Restaurant in Västerås kommun

As a big fan of Chinese buffet food, and have visited many Chinese restaurants in different countries, I can say that this restaurant is not a Chinese restaurant. It is a mixture of Asian foods. They even do not provide sweet & Sour chicken and fried rice, which are one of the very mandatory items Chinese restaurants should provide. Overall my experience is OK. I tried to taste all the food in the restaurant to evaluate their food quality. Various sushi options are good, but they should reduce the amount of rice. I was full after eating five pieces of sushi. Fish looks much drier than other buffer restaurant. If you are a big fan of sushi, please do not expect the quality. Generally, food is a bit salty, so better to reduce it. Soup? Please do not try it. I do not know their origins. Fried food presents higher quality than other food in the restaurant. Only missing is they do not provide sweet & sour chicken. I can agree this restaurant is one of the best food in town, but very expensive!!!!!!!! Hunger definitely should visit...

I’ve previously come to choys garden severally actually and all my experiences those times were great! Nice food! good customer service, lovely ambiance. My friend and I went there today with her kids and the customer service was nothing to write home about! Firstly We asked for water and were served in a dirty smelling different water glasses compared to everyone else who was served!(others were served water with lemon and ice! While we got just water in smelly glasses) Why because we were black! Secondly the waiter comes and gives cookies to other tables but he jumps ours and goes to the next table simply because we’re black! And when we complained about it all we got was excuses without remorse!

The quality of food has just reduced drastically in comparison to when I first ate here about 4years ago. The fruits served were all just a bunch of canned fruits nothing was fresh at all!

After today it’s safe to say that Choys Garden is not for everyone especially if you don’t look white or if you’re not in a company of other...

One of the best restaurants in town. Great position in the city centre. It's beautifully decorated, like being in chinatown. You get the feeling that it is a more expensive restaurant then it is. The food is great, especially the buffet. Which most people choose. It's great value for money. And tastes great, everything from the sushi all the way to the desserts. No other restaurant can compete with it. I also want to give big creed to the staff. Unlike other restaurants they don't stand behind your back and try to make you hurry up. They leave you to it and are very helpful. Almost forgot, they serve alcoholic beverages here. Which is a fun thing to read for tourist. But in Sweden it's not a given thing that every restaurant are licensed to serve...
